Getting to Bhutan

Tour Booking Guide

Booking your trip to Bhutan is simple and straightforward. Follow these five easy steps:

Step 1: Choose Your Tour Operator

Select Jamtsho Bhutan Tours or any other licensed Bhutanese tour operator to arrange your trip to Bhutan.

Step 2: Plan Your Itinerary

Work with us to create a customized itinerary based on your interests and travel duration. Once finalized, we will calculate your total tour payment in advance.

Step 3: Make the Payment

Wire the total tour payment along with a USD 40 (one-time visa fee) to the Bhutan National Bank through one of its certified international banking partners. Please ensure that the Bhutanese tour operator is mentioned as the ultimate beneficiary, and email us a copy of your bank wire receipt for confirmation.

Step 4: Visa Processing

Once payment is received, we will complete your visa application. Please send us a clear, scanned copy of your passport (photo page). Visa processing normally takes up to one week.

Step 5: Receive Visa Approval

After your visa is approved by the Department of Immigration, we will email you a copy of the visa approval letter, which you must present upon arrival in Bhutan.
